Ujiji Broadcasting Academy (UBA) was established in 2022 offering Certificate and Diploma programmes in Journalism and Broadcasting. Since then, the academy has been expanding and adapting to the needs of the modern media industry.
UBA successfully held its graduation last year. Many students are now working in radio and television stations while others have started their own online media platforms.

UBA maintains partnerships with nearby colleges in Kigoma to support academic collaboration and knowledge sharing. It also works with local radio and television stations to enhance communication and public awareness. Additionally, UBA collaborates with government and non-governmental organizations to strengthen program implementation and community impact.
